Restaurant Spot

I had been thinking of opening my own restaurant for a while and finally saved up enough money. Now all I had to do was find the perfect space in the perfect area for my particular restaurant. I wanted it to be in a busy, hip area but I didn’t want to be paying out the roof. I wasn’t having any luck on my own so I decided to look for help. I called CBRE, they have local commercial and retail real estate properties, and they met with me.

I told them what I was looking for and what my goals were for the space. They had great insight and really know this town and had great ideas for the best place for my business to thrive. Not to mention they had some great looking spaces available.

I chose a few places that looked the best and went to take a look at them. I immediately fell in love with this one space and it was like it was made for me. It had a perfect front area for guests to sit outside and the perfect amount of indoor space I was looking for. I can’t wait to finalize this property and get everything moving!

Home Sweet, Sweet Home

I live alone and have been living in an apartment most of my life, but decided I wanted to purchase my own home. I was completely new to the whole process and wasn’t even sure where to start. I had a reasonably good idea of what I was looking for, but was mostly focused on living in my favorite area of town. I decided to look into getting professional help and found out about ATK Team. The Great Maui Promotion

homes in Maui HIWhen my husband told me he was getting promoted, I never imagined a promotion would take us to the beautiful Hawaiian island of Maui. Once he was promoted, we had exactly a month to move in to a new place, so we needed to find a realtor ASAP. Luckily, after we did a quick Google search of Maui realtors, we found Maui Sales. They didn’t look like the typical real estate company– they were family owned and employed, which made us feel more comfortable hiring them. So I gave them a call to inquire about properties we might be interested in.

My husband was going to be working for a prominent Wailea resort in the management department, so ideally, we wouldn’t be far away from the hotel. But we also have three young children and we wanted to make sure we were going to be close to their schools and after school activities. We also made it a priority to be in a neighborhood that was full of local families, not just a vacation settlement.

I expressed all of our needs to The Smith Team, and they quickly came up with several listings they knew we would love. We were very happy with the quick turnaround of finding listings that fell into all of our wants and needs because we were working an a very short timeline. As a result, we ran into the opposite problem we expected– too many choices.

Because we weren’t able to come out for more than a few days to look at homes before making offers on them, The Smith Team did a great job of helping us narrow down our choices based on the feedback we were giving them. So, by the time we were able to fly out to Maui and view homes in Wailea, we only needed to visit three homes. This freed up the rest of our trip to look at schools and do other things we needed to before we moved to Wailea.

The home we ended up making an offer on was fifteen minutes away from my husband’s work, and only ten minutes away from my kids’ school. Probably the best part was that it was right around the corner from a lovely park where the kids and I could walk to any time we wanted. It was also located in a safe area that we felt comfortable in, having young children.

It’s still hard to believe that we are only a week away from moving from San Francisco to Wailea, but having purchased a house makes it all feel real, somehow. We will be missing our friends and family, but we are already planning to have our family come stay with us at Christmas, and plan to return to the Bay Area for Thanksgiving. Thanks to The Smith Team at Maui Sales, we are going to have a stress-free transition to our new lives in Wailea.

First option would be a bungalow. This residential space is perfect for a family of three to four members. Bungalows usually have two to three bedrooms.
